AN ARTISTIC ELABORATION ASSUMING THAT PERCEPTION IS SUGGESTIVE

Perception is influenced by many factors. The same phenomenon can be experienced completely different – partly from person to person but also by the same person, suggestively influenced by individual experiences. The working title of this project was Superposition Of Perception taking hold of different sciences. In this case with vantage point in difference between matter and waves and geology: ” […] a fundamental difference between matter and waves, is known as the principle of superposition . The old saying that no two things can occupy the same space atthe same time is correct when applied to matter, but it does not apply to waves. Indeed, an infinite number of waves can occupy the same space at the same time;furthermore, they do this without affecting one another, so that each wave retains its own character independent of how many other waves are present at the samepoint and time.”*
“Steno’s law of superposition: layers of rock are arranged in a time sequence, with the oldest on the bottom and the youngest on the top, unless later processes disturb this arrangement. It is Steno’s most famous contribution to geology.”**
