Gradus Junior College
The Royal Academy of Music cooperates with the private piano school Gradus on the talent development programme Gradus Junior College for young classical pianists between the ages of 8 and 20 years.
With the support of the Augustinus Foundation, the Gradus Junior College offers its pupils two weekly solo lessons at a reduced price. Furthermore, the Foundation provides financial support to ear training lessons and theory lessons as well as support for the pupils to participate in competitions and courses.
The cooperation with the Royal Academy of Music
Through the cooperation with the Royal Academy of Music, the Gradus pupils are also invited to participate in piano evenings and courses with Danish and international teachers at the Academy. At these events, the Gradus pupils participates alongside students from the Academy.
Similarly, students from the Royal Academy of Music are invited to participate in master classes and other activities that fall under the Gradus Junior College.
Open for the public
Master classes, Saturday school, etc. at the Gradus Junior College are always open to the public so that other pianists and other interested people are welcome to sit in on the lessons.
