Monday-Tuesday 30-31th May 2022
Musikhuset Aarhus
In recent years, the focus on joint initiatives across the fields of music and health has been increasing. This has resulted in the rise of a variety of new and exciting initiatives across these disciplines.
In the conference, a number of these initiatives will be presented and the participants will be invited to experience the interplay between music and health professionals during site visits to some of the locations in Aarhus where these initiatives usually take place.
On the second day of the conference, the participants will discuss in groups how the connection between music and health can be supported and developed further in the future.
The conference is initiated by NEXT!, which is a new network for Nordic and Baltic music academies focusing on exploring artistic citizenship within higher music education.
