Teacher, Musician's Health and Alexander TechniqueBirgitte Due has taught pop/jazz and classical musicians since 1980.
In 1987 she took part in research with musicians from Aarhus Symphony Orchestra (ASO) about stress in connection with playing concerts (Alexander Technique as effective as Beta Blockers in handling situational induced stress in professional musicians).
Subsequently, she has taught musicians in ASO Alexander Technique, mindfulness and latest injury prevention exercises.
Since 1990 Birgitte Due has been working at RAMA, MGK Ø, Jyske Sangskole and other music schools. Furthermore, she has been a guest teacher at Sibelius Akademia. Birgitte Due is educated movement teacher and Alexander Technique teacher; she has also trained cognitive therapy and mindfulness meditation.”
