Exchange students

RAMA has a vivid international milieu and accepts approximately 20 exchange students every year. Most of them apply through the Nordplus or Erasmus+ programmes.

The application deadline for exchange students is March 1st.

Applying process:

STEP 1: Nomination procedure for incoming exchange students

Students who wish to apply for exchange at RAMA must be nominated by their home institution.
Please contact your home institution coordinator and ask them to fill out this Nomination Sheet (Google Form).

STEP 2: Application from the student

Requirements:

  • Working links to an audition recording – approximately 15 minutes duratio The recording can be either audio or video – or a combination – and must be uploaded to for example Vimeo, Dropbox or YouTube.
    Please note:
    Applicants to composition or songwriting must submit scores for 15 minutes of music.
    Applicants to General Music Education must, in addition, also submit a video of a self-chosen assignment, where the applicant demonstrates a teaching situation with children and/or adults.
    Duration: about 10-15 minutes
  • Letter of Motivation
  • Letter of Recommendation – from main subject teacher
  • Stydy plan.
    Please note: The Learning Agreement will not be finalized until the applicant is accepted and has discussed the subjects with the relevant Head of Studies at RAMA.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Certificate (only Master’s level applicants) or Master’s Degree Certificate (only applicants applying for the Soloist programmes
  • Curriculum Vitae

A Transcript of Records will be provided after the mobility.

The passed subjects will not be graded.

When applying through the EASY Mobility Online systempPlease note that there is a process connected to the sending institution and several steps to be completed before the application can be finally submitted to the receiving institution.

Admissions decisions will be communicated through the application system EASY Mobility Online in April/May.

For international coordinators at institutions that are not using EASY Mobility Online

When one of your students submits an application, the specified coordinator at your institution will automatically receive an email from EASY Mobility Online. From this e-mail you need to nominate (approve) the application. After the nomination, it will show up in EASY Mobility Online as an application that needs to be assesed by RAMA.
