Bjørn Petersen

Associate Professor; Ensemble Teaching

Bjørn “Bønne” Petersen is a doublebass and electric bass player. He has played with several different bands performing in many different styles including the Funkband Jacob Elvstrøm Quartet, The Pampers and Chain Gang with 4 colleagues at the Academy. At the moment Bjørns performin activities are with Gospel Brothers and Peter Lund Swing Trio.

Besides band teaching, Bjørn previously taught “Rotation”, IT and music technology, and the art of bass and band teaching.
