Margrethe Langer Bro
Associate Professor, Music and healthMargrethe Langer Bro (MLB) is an associate professor at The Royal Academy of Music and at The Danish National Academy of Music. At RAMA, she teaches artistic citizenship through the elective course Music & Health. In addition, she supervises bachelor- and master students in their final projects that relate to artistic citizenship.
Since 2005, MLB has been working as a professional musician as well as a lecturer, supervisor and coach for music students, professional ensembles and health care professionals within the area of artistic citizenship. She graduated as a solo pianist from The Royal Academy of Music (1998) and holds a PhD degree from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark (2019), through which she combines her artistic practice with a scientific approach.
