General
All higher education programmes in Denmark follow a university model consisting of a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree, lasting three and two years respectively.
Each programme is awarded a number of ECTS credits. The ECTS is a standardised European credit system that indicates the total workload of a given course of study. The system makes it possible to study abroad as an exchange student at conservatories and universities, as well as to combine a Danish conservatory education with advanced music studies abroad.
