Employed at DJM in 1992 as associate professor since 1994 and as professor since 2018. Jens Chr. “Chappe” Jensen is the daily leader of the academy”s Big Band and teaches the course “Big Band Arrangement” amongst others. Furthermore he is the leader of Blood Sweat Drum”n Bass Big Band, and he plays concerts with Blood Sweat Drum + Bass, Grappa Incident a.o. He has been a teacher at Aarhus Music School, and he has played with Klüvers Big Band for several years. He has featured on a number of cd”s with Klüvers Big Band, Interplay Jazzquartet, Blood Sweat Drum”n Bass Big Band a.o.
