Christian Skjødt

Teacher, Electronic Composition

Christian Skjødt Hasselstrøm (he/him) works as an artist and composer at the cross field between sound, visual arts and natural science.

CSH has presented his work at museums, galleries, festivals and in concert halls worldwide, including Ars Electronica Festival (Linz, AT), Donaueschinger Musiktage (DE), Mois Multi (Quebec, CA), Sound Reasons (New Delhi, IN), A plus A Gallery (Venedig, IT), Semibreve (Braga, PT), Műcsarnok Kunsthalle Budapest (HU), Skan II / Skanu Mežs (Riga, LV), Üle Heli (Tallinn, ES), Ostrava Days (CZ), Ultima (Oslo), Overgaden – Institut for Samtidskunst (Kbh) and Museet for Samtidskunst (DK). Has been artist-in-residence at Avatar (Quebec, CA), Notam – Norwegian Centre for Technology, Art and Music (Oslo), EMS Elektronmusikstudion (Stockholm) and Inter Arts Center i Malmö / Lund University.

CSH has a masterdegree from The Royal Academy of Music, where he has teached since 2009. He is one of the co-creator of the programme “Electronic Sound and Music”.
