General Musik Leadership (Aarhus) (MA)
General Music Leadership (AM) is the Academy’s broadest music education programme for aspiring music educators and leaders.
The core of the programme is music leadership. You will develop the skills to lead, teach, and create musical communities, as well as to design and implement both educational and artistic projects in practice.
The programme is aimed at both jazz/pop and classical music leaders. Its broad profile ensures that you receive training in both jazz/pop and classical music traditions. You will also build an extensive professional network and learn to facilitate and participate in interdisciplinary projects characterised by a high degree of professional diversity.
Being an AM Student
As an AM student, you will work creatively, entrepreneurially, and across a wide range of contexts with music leadership, the teaching of children and adults, and artistic projects. You will engage with many different areas of the music profession and become part of a vibrant and social study environment, where the sense of community extends well beyond graduation.
AM graduates are highly sought after in the music sector because they combine strong leadership, pedagogical, and musical competencies.
