The concert will showcase some of my latest work, dealing with the extraction of information on the musical structure of existing music, and (re)applying these structures during the creation/organization of new sonic material.

I’m interested in investigating how our listening situation changes, when we leave parts of the “organizational” decision making to machines, (solely informed by other works of music).

And thus, perhaps to some extent, bypassing the composer’s own (p)references, as the central and dominant “filter” between the sound material itself, and the structured musical forms presented to the audience.
