Niklas Brandenhoff: Fable
Hello, My name is Niklas Brandenhoff and I’m a composer and sound artist studying at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark. After finding out about your Datacenter in Odense I have had the desire of of recording characteristic sounds of the datacenter – for example the sound of the cooling fans.
Artistically I am very interested in the material reality of storage and I think your facility is very unique and interesting in relation to this.
Could this at all be possible?
The recordings are for a school project with the Polish Duo van Vliet. Ideally the recordings would be of the server rooms, the air conditioning and cooling fans, as well as surrounding environment.
I hope this could be possible,
Niklas Brandenhoff
Nina Møller Jørgensen: I’ve Lost a Tree
I’ve Lost a Tree is a musical and visual work about loss, longing, and the deep bond between humans and nature. Written for the experimental duo Duo van Vliet, it weaves accordion, viola, electronics, and video into a shifting landscape of intimacy and chaos. Through sound and imagery, it becomes an almost nightmarish reflection on separation, memory, and letting go.
Cătălina Lazurca: all the money in the world (for Catalina)
all the money in the world (for Catalina) is a sad girl party-piece that critiques the societal standards of today in relation to status, economy, gender roles and the art-world. It is inspired by Romanian party culture and Șaraiman by Romica Puceanu, to whom I’m also dedicating it.
The concert is free, and you can just show up without a ticket. Please come early.
