Music Leadership – General Music Leadership
Music Leadership – General Music Leadership
General Music Leadership is a track within the Bachelor of Music in Music Leadership, offering a broad musical profile combined with opportunities to specialise in one or more areas of music leadership during the programme.
The programme focuses on developing students’ professional skills across a wide range of disciplines within music leadership, including music education and music leadership involving children and adults, as well as choral conducting, classical ensemble conducting, and jazz/pop band leadership.
During their Bachelor’s studies, students specialise in selected areas while also developing fundamental skills across all disciplines.
The programme places particular emphasis on developing students’ musical, pedagogical and leadership competencies, as well as their ability to apply these in a variety of musical and educational contexts. Practical music leadership is at the heart of the programme, providing a framework for each student’s professional, pedagogical, and artistic development.
