RAMA at opening of Music City Aarhus 2022

Students from RAMA will continue to play after the official opening of Music City Aarhus 2022 on Saturday 26 March, where the entire city is invited to join a Music Route through the city center and opening concert at Bispetorv at 5 pm.

A number of RAMA students continue the same evening with a minor festival with four concerts in Musikhuset Aarhus from kl. 7.30 pm. Here the audience can experience a jazzy guitar duo in the Chamber Music Hall (7.30 pm), soul and art pop with beats and synthesizer in the Rhythmic Hall (8 pm and 9 pm) and contemporary composition music on the Club Stage (8 pm). More info about the minor festival on March 26 on the music city’s website.

Panorama Festival 2022

As part of Music City Aarhus 2022 and gathered around the opening concert, the classical composer students at RAMA present their annual festival: Panorama, where the city’s citizens can experience what is going om right now among the next generation of composers and sound artists. The festival is planned and curated by the students themselves.

In 2022, the festival offers five concerts in Musikhuset from 25 to 27 March, with experimental music in many forms, including contemporary chamber music, performance works as well as electronic music and multimedia music. More info about the individual concerts in the calendar on the Academy’s website and a comprehensive overview on Facebook.

RAMA on the program throughout Music City 2022

Music City Aarhus 2022 is the entire city of Aarhus’ music year, dedicated to restarting music life, building a bridge between culture and business and gathering the city’s citizens for music. As one of the city’s largest concert providers, RAMA is naturally among the many partners in the city’s music life that are behind the music city year. A large number of the Academy’s concerts are part of the Music City 2022 program.

There is free admission to all RAMA concerts at Music City Aarhus 2022.
