Once again RAMA students plays at Royal Run in Aarhus

RAMA presents a total of four very different events in connection with H.M. King Frederik’s visit at Royal Run in Aarhus Monday 20 May.

The audience, together with H.M. The king, has the opportunity to experience:

• 9 cellists in the Marselisborg Park, on the stairs leading up to the castle
• 9 dancers and drummers at Filtenborgs Plads
• 4 electronic musicians on Fiskergade by Clemens Bro
• 22 brass players and percussionists in Skanseparken and at the welcome of the King in Mindeparken

Musically, the students offer a little bit of everything, from beautiful cello melodies to inciting drum rhythms from distant regions to modern electronic music and a potpourri of Aarhus songs as well as other popular music for wind and percussion.

Since 2019, RAMA has been part of Royal Run in Aarhus. As crown prince, King Frederik was patron of the Academy. The protectorate has not been terminated after the change of throne.
