GLOMUS CAMP 2022 – Life is Live

As part of Music Hall Aarhus’ 40th anniversary party, “Life is Live-festival”, GLOMUS Camp contributes with a number of concerts. Access to these concerts requires a ticket to the entire Life is Live-festival.

Small groups – Klubscenen and Kammermusiksalen, from kl. 13:00

A large number of smaller music groups will perform between 13:00 and 19:30 alternately in the two halls, approx. 20 min. for each group. During the camp, the groups have practiced together and inspired each other based on their different cultural backgrounds.

13.30: Argentina/Tanzania – Kammermusiksalen
14.00: African Drum and Dance – Klubscenen
14.30: Conflict & Peace Making – Kammermusiksalen
15.00: Mali Meets Brazil – Klubscenen
16.30: Instrument building – Kammermusiksalen
17.00: Jazz impro – Klubscenen

Faratuben – Rhythmic Hall, at 15:30

Concert with Faratuben, a well-established band consisting of musicians from both Mali and Denmark. The band plays an updated version of the traditional West African bobo music.


The event is a part of GLOMUS Camp 2022.

GLOMUS Camp 2022 is organized by GLOMUS (Global Music Network), which is an ambitious network for proactive music and art academies from around the world. The Academy is a co-founder of the network, which includes 25 partner institutions from all continents. This is the first time GLOMUS Camp is being held in Scandinavia.
