An orange time

“(…) waiting for a bloom time, a green time and an orange time.”
(Z. N. Hurston: Their eyes were watching God – a novel. Virago, US, 1937)

At the end of each season, a part of her dies. What she may not yet understand is that this cycle of life and death moves her forward in her life and gives her the maturity to handle the harsh realities of life.

An Orange time is an interdisciplinary performance inspired by Beatriz instinctive drive towards the orange as a colour and its symbolism, as well as her  interest on the performativity of the orange as a fruit and the simple vital action of eating a fruit.
