Festival of the century – The EPK Project

The EPK Project explores and cultivates the distinctive qualities and shared experiences among its members, reflecting not only on their individual identities but also on their cultural backgrounds from Finland, Estonia, and Denmark. This creates a singular sound that draws inspiration from folk, Nordic, and jazz traditions. Combined with the musicians’ passion for improvisation, this blend offers a one-of-a-kind musical journey where the audience experiences a shared musical understanding while also clearly hearing the nuances that each individual contributes.

The band is formed with a shared desire to introspect both personally and culturally, exploring the differences and commonalities. This aims to present a new perspective on the Nordic sound, offering a contemporary take that blends tradition with innovation.
