Danish Flute Festival 2026: Galla Concert

Join us for the grand evening of the Danish Flute Festival!

For this special Galla Concert, we bring together all the festival’s wonderful teachers for an evening celebrating the flute in all its shapes, colours and possibilities.

The programme features music by J.S. Bach, Joseph Boismortier, Franz Doppler, Kaija Saariaho, and Guillaume Conneson, including the world premiere of The Flutter of a Butterfly, a solo piece composed by festival composer Magnus Plejdrup, performed by Lena Kildahl, associate flute Professor at RAMA.

The evening concludes with Ian Clarke’s Within, featuring all the festival teachers together on stage.
