RAMAtalks
As a prelude to RAMA Festival 2019, which this year for the first time is arranged by the students, two students have planned a number of talks at Dokk1 in Aarhus. They will be held on Thursday, 28 March between 3 pm and 6 pm. There is free access and each talk takes about 25 minutes.
RAMAtalks is a unique chance for a look behind the scenes at the Academy. Students from all genres of music will tell about and demonstrate some of the things they work with and are passionate about.
The initiators Camilla Overggard and Helene Tungelund say: “With RAMAtalks we want to share the students’ enormous resources of knowledge and passion that may not be visible when we are on the stage. We want to show the public some of the work behind creating a personal identity as an artist, educator and entrepreneur. RAMAtalks gives the students space to test the role of communicator in other ways than from the stage, and the presentations are including musical demonstrations.”
