RAMA Classic – Orchestra in parts

RAMA Strings: Music with Academy students.

The program includes Brittens Simple Symphony, Sibelius’ Valse Triste and Mojsei Weinbergs Concertino for cello and strings with cello student Katrín Birna Sigurdardóttir as soloist.

RAMA Strings is a part of “RAMA CLASSIC”.

RAMA CLASSIC – Orchestra in Parts

RAMA CLASSIC is a small festival at RAMA introducing the big groups of the Symphony Orchestra.

Working in these sections provides the possibility of nurturing the playing together in a smaller context though still in a large group and in this way exploring the art of uniting in music – in perspectives as e.g. timing, how the instruments blend – the use of colors – and flexibility in cooperating when making music together.
