Open Source Orchestra

‘The Open-Source Orchestra is a new ‘modular’ ensemble with a focus on classical instrumentation in contemporary music. The ensemble has an adaptable line-up with the potential to expand and alternate its instrumentation for each new project or collaboration, with this concert featuring a small orchestra or ‘sinfonietta’ constellation.

At this concert the orchestra is led by Scottish composer, songwriter and RAMA student Tom Irvine. The orchestra will be performing original material along with new arrangements and collaborations with artists from Scotland and Denmark.

This concert is part of Tom Irvine’s Kandidatprojekt at RAMA.
