Festival of the Century – New borders: Søren Nørbo, piano

Climate changes create tragic conflicts over land and borders. But the border between Norway and Sweden is revised every 25 year, quite peacefully, because the waterways between the two countries change over time.

At this concert, associate professor, jazz pianist and composer Søren Nørbo presents a series of completely new numbers, where Nørbo peacefully pushes boundaries in relation to the compositions and dialogues in the music.

Originally, the concert was to be performed together with a Finnish piano student from the Academy, but unfortunately he has had to call in sick.
The concert is performed by Søren Nørbo solo.
