DJM@Aarhus Festuge: Mateusz Woch Quintet
The academy presents a short row of classical concerts in Ridehuset in cooperation with Aarhus Festuge.
The Jyske Brass Quintet is a newly formed professional brass quintet based in Aarhus, founded by five master’s students at the Royal Academy of Music, each from a different European country: Spain, Poland, Norway, and Portugal.
The ensemble has built its artistic identity around this diversity. Its concert programmes are conceived as cultural portraits — exploring sacred music, national traditions, and the dialogue between European voices — and tonight’s performance marks the quintet’s first major public appearance.
