Danish Flute Festival 2026: Final Concert

The programme features the world premiere of The Flutters of Butterflies, a new work for flute orchestra by festival composer Magnus Plejdrup.

The programme also includes Sigurd’s Flute Song, with Ulla Miilmann from DR Symphony as soloist, accompanied by an orchestra made up of the festival’s youngest flutists. To conclude, the concert presents the result of the festival’s flute ensemble workshop. Under the guidance of Icelandic flutist Emilia Rós Sigfúsdóttir, the participants have worked on a piece which they will now perform for the audience.

It will be a concert filled with flute music, community and a festive finale to three days of Danish Flute Festival 2026.
