A Personal Interpretation: Insights and Live Excerpts

How does one find their own voice as a classical musician? Three students from the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus share insights from the elective A Personal Interpretation, where personal musicality is developed in the intersection between historical awareness and artistic freedom. Through spoken presentations and live musical examples, the students demonstrate how interpretation can be shaped consciously and personally, and how aesthetic choices influence both the content of the work and its impact on the audience.
