Performance at Kedlen, Holstebro

In week 44, RAMA in Holstebro hosts a project week involving students from both the Aarhus and Holstebro campuses. The week’s work culminates in a work-in-progress performance on Thursday evening. Everyone is welcome to attend this very special performance, where anything can happen, as the final format and content will only be determined during the course of the week.

“Co-creation Week” is a very special week in which students from Holstebro and Aarhus have the opportunity to work together and develop new connections and collaborations through an interdisciplinary artistic workshop led by some of Denmark’s most exciting artists.

Under the guidance of composer and performance artist Hannah Schneider and theatre and stage director Nicolei Faber, the 22 RAMA students will work together to create and stage an experimental musical performance.

The project takes place at various locations on Sygehusgrunden, the former hospital site in the centre of Holstebro, which includes studios, rehearsal rooms and creative workspaces. A key venue is the former hospital laundry, Kedlen, a large and raw industrial space that has since been transformed into an experimental cultural venue. Here, the students will explore the acoustics, sounds and artistic possibilities of this unique setting as they prepare for their Thursday evening performance.

The concert is free, and you can just show up without a ticket. Please come early.
