At an algo-rave, the musicians not only\u00a0<em>play<\/em>\u00a0electronic music on their laptops, they also\u00a0<em>write<\/em>\u00a0the codes behind the music live and project the codes onto a large screen so that the audience can keep up with the live composition.<\/p>\n<p>Among the musicians was Mads Kjeldgaard, who studies electronic composition at DIEM at RAMA. Live coding is a new phenomenon in Denmark. Many of the performers of the autumn&#8217;s first Danish algo-rave in Odense were from abroad.
