{"id":16708,"date":"2021-09-21T13:30:38","date_gmt":"2021-09-21T11:30:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/?p=16708"},"modified":"2021-09-21T13:30:38","modified_gmt":"2021-09-21T11:30:38","slug":"chamber-music-festival-survives-corona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/en\/chamber-music-festival-survives-corona\/","title":{"rendered":"Chamber music festival survives corona"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>The Academy is again co-organizer of the Aarhus Chamber Music Festival, which was held for the first time in 2019, which despite the corona was repeated in September 2020 and which is now again held in the heart of Aarhus from Friday 24 September to Sunday 26 September.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>At the Aarhus Chamber Music Festival, younger international top artists play together with some of the country&#8217;s best, young music students. The festival aims to spread the joy of chamber music&#8217;s intimate form of expression, i.a. by presenting young talents. For example, the audience can on Saturday 25 September experience the concert \u2018Musical Star Seeds\u2019 with chamber ensembles from the Academy.<\/p>\n<p>At a total of eight concerts, a wide range of classical chamber music is presented in different formats. I.a. in the form of three evening concerts with unique and magnificent chamber music &#8211; from Mendelssohn and Schumann to completely new works &#8211; and two afternoon concerts in the form of a shorter, more intimate music experience.<\/p>\n<p>Among others the French string quartet Quator Arod, which in 2017 was named \u201cBBC New Generation Artist\u201d, will visit the festival. Among the professional participants at the festival, there are in general many young and younger musicians with a great career, for example the award-winning brothers Jonathan and Nicholas Swensen (cello and viola), the violinist Anna Egholm as well as solo oboist Oliver Nordahl and solo clarinetist Mathias Kj\u00f8ller from the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p>The festival takes place in Musikhuset Aarhus and is arranged in a collaboration between Musikhuset, the Academy and a small group of hard-working music students, among others from the Academy.<\/p>\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/aarhuskammermusikfestival.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the festival&#8217;s website<\/a> for program overview and more info.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Academy is again co-organizer of the Aarhus Chamber Music Festival, which was held for the first time in 2019, which despite the corona was repeated in September 2020 and which is now again held in the heart of Aarhus from Friday 24 September to Sunday 26 September.
