You will develop the skills to lead, teach, and create musical communities, as well as to design and implement both educational and artistic projects in practice.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The programme is aimed at both jazz\/pop and classical music leaders. Its broad profile ensures that you receive training in both jazz\/pop and classical music traditions. You will also build an extensive professional network and learn to facilitate and participate in interdisciplinary projects characterised by a high degree of professional diversity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3>Being an AM Student<\/h3>\n<p>As an AM student, you will work creatively, entrepreneurially, and across a wide range of contexts with music leadership, the teaching of children and adults, and artistic projects. You will engage with many different areas of the music profession and become part of a vibrant and social study environment, where the sense of community extends well beyond graduation.<\/p>\n<p>AM graduates are highly sought after in the music sector because they combine strong leadership, pedagogical, and musical competencies.<\/p>\n<h3>The Master\u2019s Programme<\/h3>\n<p>The Master\u2019s programme is a continuation of the Bachelor\u2019s programme in Music Leadership \u2013 General Music Leadership and is open to both internal and external applicants.<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>If you have recently completed the BA programme in <a href=\"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/en\/programmes\/bachelor\/music-leadership-aarhus\/music-leadership-general-music-leadership\/\">Music Leadership \u2013 General Music Leadership<\/a> at RAMA, you are only required to take an entrance examination if you are applying with a new principal study instrument.<\/li>\n<li>All other applicants must take entrance examinations in two principal subjects. Applicants who do not hold a RAMA BA degree in General Music Leadership must also take examinations in subsidiary piano and subsidiary singing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During the Master\u2019s programme, you will specialise in either <strong>two music leadership subjects<\/strong> or <strong>one music leadership subject and one principal study instrument<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Possible music leadership specialisations include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic Music Pedagogy (Children)<\/li>\n<li>Classical Choral Conducting<\/li>\n<li>Jazz\/Pop Choral Conducting<\/li>\n<li>Ensemble Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Orchestra and Ensemble Conducting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Study Plans<\/h3>\n<p>See the study plans for both the Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s programmes <a href=\"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/en\/programmes\/curricula\/curricula-for-jazz-pop\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The core of the programme is music leadership.
