{"id":39716,"date":"2026-06-24T15:57:25","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T13:57:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/?page_id=39716"},"modified":"2026-10-10T00:05:45","modified_gmt":"2026-10-09T22:05:45","slug":"exchange","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/en\/programmes\/exchange\/","title":{"rendered":"Exchange"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Exchange students<\/h3>\n<h4>Applying process<\/h4>\n<p>Applicants for exchange at RAMA must apply through the RAMA online application form (open between 15 January and 01 March).<\/p>\n<h4>Deadline<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Application deadline is 01 March<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>After submission of your application an email will be sent to the international coordinator at your home institution, who must nominate\/approve your application. The <strong>nomination must be done by 10 March<\/strong>, so be sure to be in contact with your home coordinator about this. If your application is not nominated by 10 March, unfortunately we cannot take it into consideration.<\/li>\n<li>We normally open up for applications 15 January.<\/li>\n<li>Admissions decisions will be communicated via email to the applicant and home coordinator, expected end of May.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>The application<\/h4>\n<p>Before starting your online application, please make sure you have the following documents and materials ready. This will help you complete your application smoothly.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Photo<\/strong><br \/>\nA recent portrait photo for official use.<br \/>\nFilename must be \u2018YOUR_NAME_Photo\u2019<br \/>\nExample: JANE_DOE_Photo<\/li>\n<li><strong>Letter of Motivation<\/strong><br \/>\nA short text (Max. 1200 keystrokes, 1\/2 page) where you explain who you are, why you want to go on exchange, and how it fits into your studies.<br \/>\nFilename must be \u2018YOUR NAME_MotivationLetter\u2019<br \/>\nExample: JANE_DOE_MotivationLetter.pdf<\/li>\n<li><strong>Audition Recording (Link)<\/strong><br \/>\nWorking links to video or audio recordings showing your current artistic level:<br \/>\n<strong>Music (Classical\/Pop\/Jazz)<br \/>\n<\/strong>Please prepare links to 3 pieces of music performed by yourself (total duration max. 15 minutes).<br \/>\n<strong>Composition and Songwriting<br \/>\n<\/strong>Please insert links to 3 pieces of music (total duration max. 15 minutes). All compositions \/ lyrics must be composed and written by you. It is not required that the music is performed by you.<br \/>\n<strong>General Music Education<br \/>\n<\/strong>Please insert links to 2 pieces of music (max. 10 minutes) and 1 video of yourself in a teaching situation with children and\/or adults (5 minutes).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transcript of Records<\/strong><br \/>\nAn official transcript with an overview of your completed courses and grades.<br \/>\nFilename must be \u2018YOUR NAME_Transcript of Records\u2019<br \/>\nExample: JANE_DOE_Transcript of Records.pdf<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Learning Agreement<\/h4>\n<p>Exchange students at RAMA are enrolled in one of our study programmes and take part in courses and activities together with regular students. Therefore, applications are based on study programmes rather than individual course selection.<\/p>\n<p>You can find information about our study programmes <a href=\"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/en\/programmes\/curricula\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Following admission, an individual <strong>Learning Agreement \/ Study Plan<\/strong> will be prepared in collaboration with the student, the home institution, and RAMA.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that RAMA does not award grades to exchange students. Academic results are assessed on a <strong>Pass\/Fail<\/strong> basis and documented in the student\u2019s Transcript of Records.<\/p>\n<h4>IMPORTANT DATES<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>15 January \u2013 01 March \u2013 Application system is open.<\/li>\n<li>01 March 00.00 hrs. CET \u2013 Strict deadline for complete applications including nominations by home institution and upload of all required documents.<\/li>\n<li>Mid-March \u2013 Applications forwarded to the selection committee.<\/li>\n<li>May \u2013 Expected reply to submitted applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please contact <a href=\"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/en\/about-djm\/employees\/line-berg\/\">Line Berg<\/a> or the international office at your home institution for further information on application procedures.<\/p>\n<h4>Residence permit for foreign students<\/h4>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">It is a condition for admission and continued enrolment in higher education in Denmark that you have \u2013 or can be granted \u2013 legal residence in Denmark.
