Many choirs and a cappella groups face this challenge in rehearsal and performances featuring these musical styles.<\/p>\n<p>The studies answer this challenge, where choir directors worldwide attend as students to be educated by a renowned team of world-class teachers, ensuring the highest pedagogical and artistic level.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/pdf\/MMus_Rytmisk_korledelse_-_KARK_ENG.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Curriculum<\/a><\/p>\n<h4>International touch<\/h4>\n<p>In some cases, students can participate in the weekly classes online. This option adds to the program&#8217;s modern and international quality.<\/p>\n<h4>Main subject techers<\/h4>\n<p>The teacher team references Bobby McFerrin, The Real Group, Touch\u00e9, and Vocal Line, and it is assisted by top guest teachers, such as beatboxing and concert design.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Intelligent Choir Philosophy &amp; Vocal Painting by Professor <a href=\"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/en\/about-djm\/employees\/jim-daus-hjernoee\/\">Jim Daus Hjern\u00f8e<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Singers&#8217; Tools by Honorary Professor <a href=\"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/en\/about-djm\/employees\/peder-karlsson\/\">Peder Karlsson<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Conductors&#8217; Toolbox by Assistant Professor <a href=\"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/en\/about-djm\/employees\/jesper-holm\/\">Jesper Holm<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Arranging &amp; Interpretation Tools by Assistant Professor <a href=\"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/en\/about-djm\/employees\/malene-rigtrup\/\">Malene Rigtrup<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tuition includes the minor subjects ear training, theory of improvisation, rhythm and coordination, vocal studies, piano, voice theory, arranging, entrepreneurship, pedagogy, ensemble singing, RAMA Voices (as a singer), and an elective flex subject.<\/p>\n<h4>Structure<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"246\" data-end=\"426\">The program combines intensive on-campus boot camps in Aarhus with online learning in the weeks between, creating a modern, flexible, and international study environment.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"428\" data-end=\"709\">Eight boot camps per academic year are mandatory for all students to attend in person on campus in Aarhus (Tuesday to Saturday) \u2014 three in the fall and five in the spring. These are supplemented by weekly online classes accessible via video conference. See boot camp dates <a href=\"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/uddannelser\/rytmisk\/korledelse\/rama-vocal-center\/campus-aalborg-boot-camps\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"711\" data-end=\"935\">In addition, each student receives four live coaching sessions per year via Zoom, where they invite their teacher and fellow students to observe and supervise a choir rehearsal \u2014 no matter where they live in the world.<\/p>\n<h4>Admission<\/h4>\n<p>Find a detailed description <a href=\"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/en\/programmes\/admission\/admission-requirements\/\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The admission test provides a complete picture of the applicant&#8217;s musical background and teaching skills. Part of the teaching takes place via videoconferencing, where students and teachers meet from different countries. This is why the admission test can naturally be conducted remotely via a video recording of the choir rehearsal and a Zoom meeting for the interview. This is optional.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The admission test consists of 2 different parts:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1) Choir leading (30 minutes).<\/strong> The applicant works with a mid\/upper-level vocal ensemble consisting of 12 singers (or more) and a minimum of 4 voice parts. It is optional to show up in person on campus with your vocal ensemble or conduct the admission test via a video recording. The applicant demonstrates attention to detail on already learned material, as well as prepares a given assignment set by RAMA in advance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2) Interview<\/strong><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><strong>\u00a0and voice and piano test (30 minutes).<\/strong> In connection with the interview, a piano and singing test\u00a0<\/span>will be conducted.<\/p>\n<h4>Important dates<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply no later than <strong>December 1, 2025,<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/musikkons.dk\/en\/programmes\/admission\/\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>An information meeting for applicants who have signed up takes place via videoconferencing on<strong> TBA<\/strong>\u00a0on Zoom. Here, we give advice and guidance, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">The applicants must submit their thoughts concerning the planning and content of the admission test (description of the choir and chosen repertoire) to the study administration no later than <strong>TBA<\/strong><\/span>. A copy of the material (scores, lyrics, etc.) for the admission test must be submitted as a PDF.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">The set assignment will be available on <strong>TBA, <\/strong>if you conduct the admission test online<\/span>. Then, you have a week to record a 30-minute video that includes all admission test requirements regarding choir leading (not the voice and piano test). The deadline for submitting the video is <strong>TBA<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you conduct the entrance exam on campus in person, the set assignment will be available one week in advance. You must bring your vocal ensemble for the admission test that will take place on <strong>TBA<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The interview, voice<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">, and piano test will take place on <strong>TBA<\/strong>.
