Thea Vesti Pedersen

Thea Vesti Pedersen is a classical guitarist educated from the soloist class at the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus/Aalborg and Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya, Barcelona and holds a degree in Art and Cultural Management from the Performing Arts Development Center.

Communication with the audience in a participation perspective and a desire to create new and innovative platforms for classical music has brought Thea Vesti Pedersen into artistic leadership of a long line of productions within the cross-artistic field.

Thea Vesti Pedersen cultivates collaboration across genres and arts, and has been artistic leader in a series of projects in collaboration with artists such as Andrea Pellegrini, Martin Hall, Ursula Andkjær Olsen, Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen, Kristina Holgersen, Teitur, Signe Klejs and others.

Thea is an active performing chamber musician based in the ensembles Lydenskab and the Danish Guitar Quartet and in duos with Andrea Pellegrini and Jesper Busk Sørensen.

At the academy she has been a involved in developing the entrepreneurial studies since 2013.
